HR Business Partner – US People Team (Montevideo)

About the role

Blend is seeking an HR Business Partner to join its US People team from the Montevideo office. You will be the primary point of contact for employees and managers, ensuring smooth execution of HR processes and supporting day‑to‑day people needs in a fast‑moving, AI‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support and execute core HR processes, including onboarding, off‑boarding, employee lifecycle changes, and documentation management.
• Maintain accurate employee data across HR systems and ensure data integrity.
• Provide timely HR‑related support to employees and managers, acting as a reliable point of contact.
• Partner with business leaders to align and consistently execute HR initiatives.
• Prepare and maintain HR reports, dashboards, and employee data tracking.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and maintain audit‑ready documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve HR workflows and contribute to process optimisation.
• Assist with internal HR communications and administrative coordination as needed.

Required profile

• 4+ years of progressive HR generalist or business partner experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience supporting US‑based teams and working in global environments.
• Working knowledge of US federal and state employment laws.
• Strong organisational skills, high attention to detail, and ability to handle confidential information.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work autonomously.
