GMP Technician

About the role

The GMP Technician ensures that assigned cleanroom areas remain clean, orderly, and compliant with Good Manufacturing Practice standards. The role involves performing routine sanitation, supporting shift leads, and maintaining a safe work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and orderly GMP environment, including walls, floors, windows, and equipment.
• Perform repetitive cleaning and sanitization tasks following SOPs.
• Use proper personal protective equipment and follow gowning procedures.
• Support shift lead with punch‑list items, work orders, and shutdown cleaning.
• Complete daily FN logs and report maintenance issues.
• Adhere to safety rules, stop at‑risk behavior, and act as a fill‑in during staff shortages.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED (preferred).
• 6 months to 1 year of relevant cleaning or GMP experience (preferred).
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification a plus.
• Valid driver’s license may be required.
• Completed all safety and task‑training certifications; forklift certification may be required.

Required skills

• Ability to read and interpret SOPs, manuals and safety instructions.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, equipment operation and cleaning compounds.
• Forklift operation (if certified).
• CPR/AED/First Aid proficiency.
