General Accounting Supervisor

About the role

Samsung Electronics is seeking a General Accounting Supervisor to join its finance team in Montevideo, Uruguay. The role focuses on maintaining the financial health of the organization by overseeing key accounting processes and ensuring compliance with internal policies.

Key responsibilities

• Manage accounts receivable, including master data, credit checks, credit line administration, and receivable matching.
• Oversee fixed‑asset accounting, handling acquisition, transfers, disposals, depreciation, and inventory classification.
• Control accounts payable payments, verify contracts, and ensure payments follow established standards.
• Plan and execute department operating expense payments, covering travel, transportation, and other business‑related costs.
• Perform daily closing activities and support month‑end reporting.
