Freelance Mechanical BIM Specialist – Global Projects

About the role

We are looking for a freelance Mechanical BIM Specialist to support the development and coordination of high‑quality mechanical models for global engineering and construction projects. You will work remotely, creating detailed Revit models of HVAC, ductwork, piping and related equipment while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain mechanical systems models in Revit at LOD 350.
• Model HVAC, ductwork, piping, sheet‑metal and mechanical equipment components.
• Coordinate BIM models with other disciplines and perform clash detection using Navisworks.
• Support BIM coordination, assist in conceptual design and ensure compliance with client standards.
• Utilize Dynamo or Python scripts to automate repetitive BIM tasks (optional).

Required profile

• Mechanical Engineering degree.
• Minimum 3 years of experience using Revit on BIM projects.
• Proven experience modeling HVAC systems, ductwork, piping and sheet‑metal.
• Advanced Revit skills and ability to deliver models at LOD 350.
• Upper‑intermediate English communication skills and immediate availability.
• Own computer/laptop for remote work.
