Electrical Engineer – Python AI Trainer (Remote, Latin America)

About the role

We are looking for an Electrical Engineer with strong Python skills to design and run simulation‑based challenges that test frontier AI models. The role is fully remote and focused on creating problems that require specialised electrical‑engineering tools, then evaluating AI performance on those tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Select and configure an appropriate electrical‑engineering simulation package (e.g., ngspice, scikit‑rf, python‑control, pandapower) to build problems whose solution depends on the tool’s core capabilities.
• Develop complete Python solutions, including netlists and circuit definitions, for each problem.
• Define numerical outputs and tolerance thresholds, then run the problems against AI models in isolated Linux containers.
• Analyse results, adjust circuit topologies, operating conditions and solver parameters to achieve a target AI pass rate of 10 %–30 %.
• Collaborate with senior reviewers to refine tasks before final submission.

Required profile

• Academic background in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience in engineering research, applied work or teaching.
• Strong Python programming ability applied to computational solutions.
• Ability to create problems that cannot be solved without specialised simulation software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Self‑motivated and able to work independently in a fast‑paced remote environment.
