CRM & Retention Marketing Lead (US B2C Subscription)

About the role

Hire.AI is looking for a CRM & Retention Marketing Lead to transform its US B2C subscription business. You will turn a basic broadcast CRM into a data‑driven Customer Value Management engine that drives revenue across email, SMS and web‑push channels.

Key responsibilities

• Design and launch triggered post‑quiz, paywall‑abandonment and onboarding sequences to boost registration‑to‑purchase conversion.
• Own first‑purchase activation for the first 7 days and build tier‑specific renewal flows for 1‑, 3‑ and 6‑month plans.
• Create pre‑cancellation interventions (pause offers, plan‑switch, value reminders) and improve month‑1 rebill rates.
• Develop a reactivation engine for cancelled users, personalized by cancel reason and tenure, using email and SMS.
• Lead the migration to an omnichannel platform (Maestra or Customer.io), restore email domain reputation and launch SMS and web‑push as first‑class channels while ensuring US compliance.
• Implement holdout testing on every flow to measure incremental revenue rather than activity.

Required profile

• Proven experience turning a broadcast CRM into a measurable CVM function that drives incremental revenue.
• Deep understanding of subscription economics, especially rebill and retention metrics.
• Track record of launching and optimizing multi‑channel lifecycle campaigns (email, SMS, web‑push) for a US consumer audience.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with engineering and product teams to deliver technical migrations.
