About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Accountant to join our growing team in Montevideo. The role offers hands‑on experience in both accounting and tax matters, supporting a diverse portfolio of clients.

Key responsibilities

• Record and control accounting documentation.
• Perform bank reconciliations and account analysis.
• Assist with monthly and annual closing processes.
• Support tax filing and presentation to the DGI.
• Handle interactions with BPS and other regulatory bodies.
• Monitor client deadlines and obligations.
• Communicate with clients and follow up on required documentation.
• Provide general support to the accounting and tax team.

Required profile

• Advanced student or recent graduate in Public Accounting.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Basic knowledge of accounting and tax principles.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Required skills

• Proficient use of Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with Conty accounting software.
• Experience with DGI and BPS online platforms.
