Business Intelligence (BI) Developer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Business Intelligence (BI) Developer to enable data‑driven decision‑making across our fast‑growing vertical SaaS business in elective medicine. The role will work closely with business stakeholders to design, build and optimise reporting, analytics and data infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Gather requirements from business users and translate them into actionable BI dashboards and reports.
• Design and develop scalable data models, ERDs and data flow diagrams.
• Build and maintain data marts to support advanced analytics.
• Create and deliver visualisations using Power BI, Tableau or similar tools.
• Apply predictive modelling and statistical analysis to identify trends and forecast outcomes.
• Leverage AI tools such as Claude to enhance analytics workflows.
• Conduct ad‑hoc data analysis and ensure data quality, governance and integrity.
• Troubleshoot complex data issues and support data‑governance initiatives, including metadata and master data management.
• Participate in the full data project lifecycle from intake to delivery.

Required profile

• 8‑10+ years of experience in BI development, database development or data analytics.
• Strong ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Proven track record of delivering reliable, scalable BI solutions in a remote or distributed environment.

Required skills

• SQL (including window functions and CTEs).
• Data modelling and data‑warehousing concepts.
• ETL processes and tools.
• Power BI, Tableau or comparable visualisation platforms.
• Predictive modelling and statistical analysis.
• AI tools (e.g., Claude) for analytics acceleration.
• Metadata management and master data management (MDM).
