BIM Team Leader – MEP Job Captain

About the role

ENG is seeking a BIM Team Leader (Job Captain) to head multidisciplinary MEP modeling teams on complex architectural and engineering projects. The role blends advanced BIM expertise with leadership, ensuring high‑quality coordination and delivery across all project stages.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor modelers, enforcing best practices, standards, and project timelines.
• Identify missing or conflicting information, manage RFIs/RFCs, and conduct thorough QA/QC reviews.
• Lead clash detection and coordination using Navisworks (or Revizto) and produce clear clash reports.
• Develop and influence modeling strategies, fostering seamless collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Oversee documentation workflows and ensure model accuracy for HVAC, plumbing, and related mechanical systems.

Required profile

• Fluent English (spoken and written) – essential for communication with native and non‑native speakers.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering (architects with extensive MEP modeling experience may be considered).
• Minimum 5 years of experience using Revit and Navisworks on large‑scale MEP projects.
• Proven ability to anticipate issues, leverage team strengths, and drive cross‑disciplinary coordination.
