About the role

Andersen is looking for a Tax Associate to join its Montevideo office. The position is ideal for an advanced accounting student or recent graduate who wants to develop practical tax expertise in a dynamic, hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file monthly and annual tax returns for CEDE, non‑CEDE, and large‑contributor companies.
• Compile and submit sworn tax declarations.
• Calculate quarterly and annual provisions for IRAE and IP taxes.
• Analyze general tax queries arising from new service lines or new clients.
• Monitor tax filing deadlines and ensure timely compliance.

Required profile

• Advanced student of Public Accounting or recent graduate.
• Enthusiastic, eager to learn, and comfortable working in a team.
• Motivated to take on new challenges and grow professionally.
