Agentic Elixir Engineer - Remote - Latin America

About the role

We are looking for an Agentic Elixir Engineer to join our talent network and work remotely with U.S. clients on project‑based assignments. You will become an integral part of the client’s engineering team, collaborating daily with designers and developers to deliver high‑quality software.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate directly into client teams and contribute to daily development tasks.
• Design, implement, and maintain RESTful web services and API integrations.
• Work with PostgreSQL or other SQL databases to ensure data integrity.
• Leverage AI engineering tools (e.g., OpenAI Codex, Claude Code, Gemini CLI) to accelerate development.
• Prompt, guide, and review AI‑generated code, ensuring performance and maintainability.
• Orchestrate AI‑assisted workflows and implement code agents for automation.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines and follow Agile/Scrum practices.
• Take extreme ownership of deliverables and work a full 40‑hour week.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• 3+ years of experience building applications with Elixir.
• Advanced English proficiency and a completed four‑year college degree.
• Proven experience with RESTful services, API integration, and PostgreSQL.
• Hands‑on experience using AI coding tools and agentic development workflows.
• Strong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and a positive, can‑do attitude.
• Experience working on large, complex systems within Agile/Scrum teams.
