Full Stack Software Engineer

About the role

QI Tech is expanding its operations to Montevideo and is looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer to build financial products from concept to production. You will work on end‑to‑end development, enjoying autonomy, responsibility and direct impact on the business.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain digital banking features such as accounts, cards, Pix, payments and escrow services.
• Integrate financial functionalities via APIs for end‑customers.
• Participate in code reviews, testing suites and quality assurance processes.
• Collaborate across the product lifecycle, from idea sketching to final deployment, ensuring performance and scalability.

Required profile

• Strong logical programming foundation, preferably with Python experience.
• Understanding of cloud computing concepts and interest in AWS and GCP platforms.
• Knowledge of networking, virtualization and infrastructure‑as‑code automation.
• Willingness to bridge software development and infrastructure operations.
