About the role

SONDA is looking for an Information Security Specialist to become the cybersecurity reference for its service line. The role involves protecting platforms, infrastructure and regional projects while ensuring compliance with the company’s ISMS.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the cybersecurity reference for the service line.
• Lead vulnerability tracking and remediation.
• Manage security of shared infrastructure, Nutanix environments and network components.
• Drive implementation of regional security projects in Uruguay.
• Define and apply hardening guidelines for new applications, platforms and servers.
• Ensure compliance with security controls defined by the ISMS.
• Provide security recommendations for new projects and services.
• Support ISMS requirements, including controls, policies and procedures.
• Offer technical support in at least one area: networking, Microsoft 365, servers or cloud.

Required profile

• University degree.
• Proven experience and knowledge in cybersecurity.
• Understanding of information security governance and management.
• Technical expertise in at least one of the following: networking, Microsoft 365, servers or cloud.
• Desired certifications: CompTIA and technical security certifications related to PAM, XDR, cloud or other cybersecurity technologies.
