Software Engineer II – React Native (Krak)

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineer II to join the Krak consumer pod, building and scaling core experiences for our global crypto platform. You will work closely with product, design and backend teams to deliver high‑impact mobile features.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high‑quality mobile applications using React Native and TypeScript.
• Own end‑to‑end delivery of assigned Krak features, from design through release and post‑launch iteration.
• Build maintainable, performant, and resilient screens and components following established architecture patterns.
• Write clean, well‑tested code and participate actively in code reviews.
• Contribute to technical design discussions, proposing clear trade‑offs.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Rust backend engineers to deliver measurable customer value.
• Help improve code quality, shared components, and tooling across the mobile codebase.

Required profile

• 3+ years of software development experience shipping large‑scale consumer mobile apps with React Native.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and experience with APIs, mobile performance, frontend testing, and modern build pipelines.
• Product‑focused mindset, comfortable iterating with product and design teams.
• Experience with real‑time systems such as WebSockets and building responsive interactive experiences.
• Understanding of UI/UX best practices and a passion for intuitive, performant consumer experiences.
• Ability to learn and adapt to emerging technologies.
