Social Media Intern – Employer Branding

About the role
We are looking for a motivated Social Media Intern to join our Employer Branding team in Montevideo. Over a 12‑month period you will help create and publish engaging content that showcases Syngenta’s culture and attracts future talent on Instagram and LinkedIn.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in planning and executing the employer‑brand social content calendar in collaboration with the Employer Brand Specialist.
- Edit short‑form and long‑form videos for Instagram Reels, Stories and LinkedIn posts, adding captions and graphics.
- Develop creative briefs and shot lists for internal creators and brand ambassadors.
- Source and pitch story ideas that align with the employer‑brand narrative, organise assets and maintain libraries of footage and finished posts.
Required profile
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s program in Marketing, Communications, Human Resources or a related field, and will remain a student for the full 12‑month internship.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and confidence interacting with colleagues at all levels.
- Creative, proactive, curious and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Required skills
- Canva (or similar design tool)
- CapCut (or similar video‑editing tool)
- Basic knowledge of digital marketing and social‑media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn)
