Senior Software Engineer – .NET & Developer Enablement

About the role

Blend is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join a fast‑growing AI services team. This hybrid position splits time between hands‑on development and internal developer enablement, helping engineering teams move faster and with higher quality.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and ship production‑ready features and services using .NET and related technologies.
• Provide expert guidance on tooling, libraries, standards, and development workflows across the organization.
• Assist engineers with environment setup, Unix/Bash scripts, and CI/testing pipelines.
• Identify repetitive friction points and automate them through scripts, templates, or improved tooling.
• Collaborate on AI‑enhanced coding tools and contribute to infrastructure‑as‑code using Terraform in AWS environments.
• Support identity and security decisions, evaluating solutions such as Okta and Auth0.

Required profile

• 5‑6 years of professional software engineering experience with strong fundamentals.
• Proven ability to give clear, opinionated technical guidance and act as an internal consultant.
• Excellent software design and architecture skills, with a focus on test‑driven development.
• Comfort operating in ambiguous environments and creating documentation or standards where none exist.
