Medical Billing & Pre-Authorizations Agent

About the role

We are seeking a Medical Billing & Pre-Authorizations Agent to support revenue cycle operations for a US‑based client. The role involves managing billing processes, handling pre‑authorizations, and ensuring accurate, compliant account resolution while communicating professionally.

Key responsibilities

• Manage billing processes by identifying and resolving accounts across multiple payors, ensuring timely collection of outstanding balances.
• Submit, review, and follow up on pre‑authorizations in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all account activities within client systems.
• Respond to inquiries promptly and professionally, ensuring effective resolution.
• Develop and monitor payment arrangements in alignment with client guidelines.
• Analyze account data to identify discrepancies, trends, and areas for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and applicable US healthcare regulations.
• Meet established productivity and quality standards while working within a structured environment.

Required profile

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proficiency in computer systems and data entry.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of medical billing, claims, or pre‑authorizations is preferred.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively within a team.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; experience in collections, billing, or customer service valued (or at least 1 year of university coursework).
