Lead Data Scientist

About the role

We are seeking a Lead Data Scientist to join our team and work closely with a challenging client in the hospitality industry. The role is highly hands‑on, focusing on leveraging data to support marketing and campaign initiatives, measure performance, identify trends, and generate actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze campaign and marketing data to identify trends, patterns, opportunities, and performance drivers.
• Develop and maintain data analyses using Python and SQL to support business and marketing initiatives.
• Define, monitor, and analyze key performance metrics and campaign KPIs.
• Support A/B testing and experimentation, including test design, analysis, and interpretation of results.
• Work with large and complex datasets to extract meaningful business insights.
• Collaborate with marketing and business stakeholders to translate analytical needs into actionable solutions.
• Build and maintain analytical reports and dashboards, leveraging tools such as Tableau when applicable.
• Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional experience in Data Science, Data Analytics, Marketing Analytics, or a related field.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Python for data analysis and manipulation.
• Strong proficiency in SQL.
• Experience working with marketing, campaign, customer, or performance data.
• Experience with A/B testing, experimentation, and statistical analysis.
• Understanding of business and marketing metrics and ability to evaluate campaign performance.
• Advanced English proficiency and strong communication skills.
