About the role

El Dorado is seeking a seasoned professional to lead the bakery production area at its Maldonado plant. The role involves overseeing daily operations, ensuring product quality, and driving efficient production to meet supply demands.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the daily bakery production workflow.
• Plan and supervise production schedules according to supply requirements.
• Organize, develop, and manage the bakery team, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
• Ensure strict adherence to recipes, processes, and quality standards.
• Control raw material usage, monitor yields, and minimize waste.
• Coordinate order assembly and dispatch for bakery products.
• Maintain compliance with hygiene, food safety, and safety regulations.
• Train staff, promote best practices, and standardize processes.
• Identify improvement opportunities and implement actions to optimize production and resource use.
• Track key performance indicators and report results.

Required profile

• Formal training as a Master Baker or equivalent experience in the bakery sector.
• Proven experience in bakery production and product manufacturing.
• Previous experience leading and managing teams.
• Strong knowledge of bakery processes, recipes, raw materials, and production organization.
• Excellent planning and organizational abilities.
• Willingness to work on-site in Maldonado.
