IT Sourcing Manager

About the role

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking an experienced IT Sourcing Manager to lead strategic procurement initiatives across software, hardware and services. You will partner with IT, Finance, Legal and business leaders to align sourcing outcomes with corporate priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with cross‑functional leaders to define and execute IT sourcing strategies.
• Lead end‑to‑end RFx events: scope, tender creation, proposal evaluation, negotiation and award recommendation.
• Utilise spend analytics, benchmarks and cost models to present decision‑ready options.
• Negotiate contracts in line with corporate standards, mitigating risk and protecting value.
• Drive cross‑functional execution, anticipate impacts of changing requirements, cost targets and timelines.
• Manage a portfolio of sourcing projects, improve processes and promote best‑practice adoption throughout the Source‑to‑Contract lifecycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of sourcing experience, specifically in the IT category.
• 3+ years in a large matrixed organization and 2+ years interacting with senior leadership (Director level or above).
• Proven track record of delivering multi‑million‑dollar savings and managing multiple RFx events simultaneously.
• Strong analytical capability, high EQ and ability to operate in ambiguous, fast‑paced environments.
