Freelance Peer Reviewer – Agricultural Engineering

About the role

We are seeking experienced researchers to join our network of freelance peer reviewers for agricultural engineering journals. This remote, contract‑based role allows you to contribute your expertise to the academic community while working on a flexible schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Assess the novelty and originality of submitted manuscripts.
• Evaluate study design, methodology, and reproducibility.
• Verify that literature reviews are comprehensive and up‑to‑date.
• Analyse results and conclusions for clarity, validity, and significance.
• Provide constructive, clear, and concise feedback to authors.
• Recommend acceptance, revision, or rejection based on your evaluation.

Required profile

• Doctorate (PhD/MD) or equivalent advanced degree in agricultural engineering or a closely related discipline.
• At least two peer‑reviewed publications in the last two years.
• Strong understanding of research methodologies and ethical standards.
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and written communication skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and maintain confidentiality.
• Prior experience as a peer reviewer is highly desirable.

Required skills

• Familiarity with online manuscript submission and review systems.
