DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced DevOps / Site Reliability Engineer to support a global customer. The role focuses on building scalable, automated, and resilient cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code.

Key responsibilities

• Manage source code repositories, branching strategies and version control best practices.
• Design, develop and maintain automation tools, integrations, micro‑services and platform extensions.
• Build, maintain and optimise CI/CD pipelines for reliable deployments.
• Implement IaC solutions with Terraform to provision and manage cloud resources.
• Continuously improve automation for provisioning, configuration management and deployments.
• Upgrade and integrate DevOps tools while ensuring reliability and scalability.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks and operational procedures.
• Monitor platform performance, troubleshoot issues and ensure high availability.
• Collaborate with development, data and platform teams to deliver robust solutions.
• Promote and enforce DevOps and SRE best practices across teams.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in DevOps or SRE roles supporting large‑scale platforms.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Terraform and IaC principles.
• Proven experience monitoring and troubleshooting Kubernetes clusters.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP (Azure a plus).
• Proficiency in Python, Shell scripting or similar languages.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or Spinnaker.
• Solid understanding of containerisation (Docker) and SQL databases (MySQL).
• Excellent incident management, documentation and communication skills.
