Data Science Professional – Remote (LATAM)

About the role

Blend is looking for experienced Data Science professionals to join its growing LATAM pool. You will work on cutting‑edge AI, MLOps and analytics projects for global clients, either fully remote from anywhere in Latin America or from our offices in Montevideo or Bogotá.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers, analysts and business stakeholders to define data‑driven solutions.
• Design, develop and deploy predictive and generative AI models.
• Build, maintain and optimise ETL pipelines and model‑serving workflows.
• Perform statistical analysis, create visual dashboards and communicate insights.
• Contribute to AI‑based product development and ensure code quality, reproducibility and scalability in production.

Required profile

• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Solid analytical thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering or equivalent hands‑on experience.
