Data QA Analyst

About the role

Blend is looking for a Data QA Analyst to ensure the accuracy and production readiness of data pipelines across 18 domains. You will work closely with the Data Engineering Manager and Analytics Engineering Lead to design validation frameworks and support regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement a reconciliation framework comparing legacy and new pipeline outputs.
• Execute structured acceptance testing for each pipeline before production deployment.
• Validate identity resolution accuracy by analysing match rates, false positives and false negatives.
• Document end‑to‑end data lineage for auditability and compliance.
• Build and maintain automated regression test suites for continuous quality assurance.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in Data Quality, QA, or Data Analysis.
• Expert‑level SQL skills for large‑scale data validation and profiling.
• Proficiency in Python for scripting automated tests and data profiling.
• Experience with data quality frameworks, preferably Great Expectations.
• Advanced English communication skills.
