Data Platform Engineer (Databricks) – Remote (Latin America)

About the role

FullStack is looking for an experienced Data Platform Engineer specialized in Databricks to join client teams on a remote, project‑based basis across Latin America. You will work side‑by‑side with designers and engineers, helping to build, automate, and maintain scalable data platforms on AWS.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and optimize Databricks clusters and jobs in enterprise AWS environments.
• Automate infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure‑as‑Code patterns.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions across multiple repositories.
• Implement REST‑API driven automation for Databricks jobs, clusters, and serving endpoints.
• Manage Unity Catalog, access controls, and data lineage.
• Set up monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability for cloud and data platforms.
• Collaborate with client teams to design cost‑efficient, multi‑environment data architectures.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional experience in Data Engineering, Platform Engineering, or DevOps.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Completed a four‑year college degree.
• Proven experience with Databricks on AWS in large‑scale settings.
