Coordinador de Pago a Proveedores

About the role

We are looking for a Supplier Payments Coordinator to lead and optimise the end‑to‑end payment process for our vendors in Maldonado. The role involves supervising a dedicated team, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and internal departments.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise the complete supplier payment process, guaranteeing compliance with deadlines and procedures.
• Lead, coach and organise the payments team to achieve performance targets.
• Control account reconciliations, monitor discrepancies and follow up pending items.
• Track management indicators, prepare reports and provide data for decision‑making.
• Identify continuous‑improvement opportunities, implement actions to streamline processes and reduce operational risk.
• Maintain effective communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure efficient and orderly operations.

Required profile

• Previous experience in coordination or supervision of supplier payments, accounts payable or related administration.
• Proven experience leading teams.
• Knowledge of accounts payable and/or receivable processes.
• Experience with account reconciliations and current‑account control.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Analytical, organised, proactive with strong leadership abilities.
• Relevant education in Administration, Accounting or similar fields is valued.
