Analista de Control de Gestión – Montevideo

About the role

We are looking for a Management Control Analyst who will transform data into strategic information to support high‑impact business decisions. The role offers a hybrid work model and direct interaction with senior management, providing a fast‑track opportunity for professional growth.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, monitor and update the annual budget and its periodic revisions.
• Analyze variances between budgeted and actual results by cost centre.
• Design, update and evaluate cost structures, identifying optimization opportunities and break‑even points.
• Assess performance by business unit, product or service line.
• Define, track and report key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Extract, clean and process data from the ERP system.
• Create and automate dashboards and management reports for senior leadership.
• Provide analytical and financial support to various departments.
• Participate in economic‑financial evaluations of new projects and business opportunities.
• Analyze investment and financing alternatives to aid decision‑making.

Required profile

• Advanced student or graduate in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Finance or related fields.
• 1–2 years of experience in financial analysis, cost accounting or management control.
• Strong analytical mindset, critical thinking and ability to detect improvement opportunities.
• Proactive, autonomous and capable of developing value‑adding proposals.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross‑functional collaboration.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (pivot tables, complex functions, Power Query).
• Knowledge of general accounting and cost accounting.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau and SQL is a plus.
