WordPress Developer – Remote (Latin America)

About the role

FullStackFullStack is seeking experienced WordPress developers to join its talent network and work on remote, project‑based assignments for U.S. clients. You will become an integral part of client teams, collaborating daily with designers and engineers to deliver high‑quality web solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate directly into client development teams and contribute to ongoing projects.
• Design, develop, and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins.
• Implement and optimise WordPress search solutions using tools such as Relevanssi, SearchWP, ElasticPress, or Algolia.
• Troubleshoot complex usability and search‑related issues.
• Maintain continuous integration and delivery pipelines for WordPress applications.
• Evaluate technical trade‑offs and recommend optimal solutions, balancing custom development with third‑party plugins.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience focused on web development.
• Advanced English proficiency and a completed four‑year college degree.
• Deep experience in custom WordPress theme and plugin development.
• Hands‑on expertise with PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS/SCSS.
• Proven ability to work on large, complex systems within Agile/Scrum teams.
• Strong attention to detail, ownership mindset, and a positive, can‑do attitude.
