About the role
El Dorado is hiring seasonal staff for its stores in Rocha. The positions cover various departments such as sales floor, bakery, produce, deli, cash register, meat, and stockroom. Candidates will work on a rotating shift basis during the peak season.
Key responsibilities
- Salon and Replenishment: Restock shelves and fridges, assist customers on the floor and at checkout.
- Rotisería/Confitería: Support preparation of bakery and confectionery items and serve the counter.
- Verdulería: Restock and display fruits and vegetables, assist customers.
- Fiambrería: Serve customers, slice, weigh and label products.
- Cajas: Handle payments, refunds and provide customer service.
- Carnicería: Prepare milanesas and assist customers.
- Depósito: Pack merchandise, control stock, and help load and unload products.
Required profile
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- Availability for rotating shifts.
- Strong customer‑service orientation, dynamic and proactive attitude.
- Previous experience in retail or food service is a plus.
- Residence in Rocha or nearby areas.
