About the role
The Manufacturing Technician will join Satellogic’s MAITE team at the production plant in Zonamerica, Montevideo. The role supports the end‑to‑end satellite manufacturing process, from supplier part acceptance through final integration and launch preparation.
Key responsibilities
- Control the quality of incoming parts and verify supplier compliance.
- Develop, update and optimise work instructions for manufacturing operations.
- Participate in internal and external training programmes to enhance professional skills.
- Produce mechanical and electronic components following space‑industry standards.
- Assemble and integrate mechanical components, cables, harnesses and thermal blankets.
Required profile
- Experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment, preferably in aerospace or satellite production.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
- Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team.
