Supply Chain Analyst

About the role

The Supply Chain Analyst will manage the end‑to‑end sample process, from receipt of request through delivery to the customer, ensuring clear communication of key events and status. The role works closely with internal BASF functions such as Sales, Supply Chain, Product Management and Technical Groups to guarantee timely fulfillment of sample requests.

Key responsibilities

• Process domestic and import sample requests via Sales Orders and Purchase Orders in SAP.
• Monitor back‑order status using the HOM Report and assign correct usage codes.
• Enforce business rules and coordinate cross‑functional resolutions when needed.
• Collaborate with labs, shipping locations, corporate functions, costing, dangerous‑goods, tariff, regulatory and customer service teams to ensure accurate order processing.
• Perform global inventory checks and track material movements in SAP.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and communicate them to management.

Required profile

• University degree in Foreign Trade, Supply Chain, Logistics, Procurement or a related field.
• 1‑3 years of experience in a similar service‑delivery role.
• Advanced proficiency in Spanish and English.
• Effective communication, customer‑service focus and strong planning skills.
