Store Manager – Diaper & Perfume Retail (Cerro Largo)

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Store Manager to lead a high‑energy diaper and perfumery retail outlet in Cerro Largo. You will be responsible for driving sales, ensuring excellent customer service, and managing a team of staff members.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations and guarantee compliance with customer‑service standards for both internal staff and third‑party providers.
• Lead the team, acting as the main internal communication hub for the store.
• Implement commercial actions such as promotions, discounts, payment methods, and sales conditions.
• Control inventory, monitor product rotation and expirations, receive merchandise, and record documentation in the system.
• Ensure adherence to operational, administrative, accounting, and security procedures.
• Manage petty cash, expenses, reconciliations, and store closures.
• Apply internal regulations and handle HR tasks: interviews, time‑keeping, performance evaluations, and probation periods.
• Motivate the team to meet sales targets through incentives and coaching.
• Identify training needs, develop staff skills, and promote professional growth.
• Maintain regular reporting to the supervisor and flag any deviations or unexpected situations.

Required profile

• Complete high‑school education (Bachillerato).
• Minimum two years of experience as a store manager, preferably in retail, supermarket, or high‑volume sectors such as food and beverage.
• Proven ability to manage sales indicators, staff supervision, and inventory control.
• Flexible availability and residence in Cerro Largo.
