Software Engineer – AI & Full Stack

About the role

Enia is looking for a Software Engineer who will work at the intersection of traditional full‑stack development and AI‑powered features. The position is full‑time, hybrid and based in Uruguay, serving clients across LATAM.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain full‑stack features using React.NET and Python.
• Design, integrate and test large language model (LLM) services such as OpenAI, including prompt design and accuracy evaluation.
• Work with hybrid development tools, using agentic coding assistants when appropriate and manual coding when required.
• Participate in deployment pipelines on Azure and AWS environments.
• Collaborate with clients and the executive team to gather requirements and deliver solutions.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Computer Science, Software Engineering or related program.
• Prior professional or project experience in software development.
• Intermediate English proficiency and strong communication skills.
• Based in Uruguay.
