Senior Technical Support Engineer (Remote, $40-50k)

About the role

Mercur connects elite creative and technical talent with leading AI research labs and is seeking a Senior Technical Support Engineer to join its remote Customer Success team. You will help talent navigate the platform, troubleshoot issues, and improve the overall user experience.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to support requests from Mercor’s talent pool regarding application processes.
• Tri­age and investigate reported issues by analyzing telemetry data, inspecting network requests, querying databases, and troubleshooting browser problems.
• Consolidate insights from support tickets and recommend product improvements.
• Create and maintain talent‑facing documentation to address common questions.
• Communicate with users in clear, near‑perfect English while maintaining a positive attitude.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of experience supporting customers on modern web applications.
• Background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent hands‑on experience building web apps.
• Experience working on SaaS‑based products.
• Familiarity with support platforms such as Zendesk, Intercom, Help Scout, Freshdesk, or Crisp.
