Senior Engineer – Viewpoint & SQL

About the role

Independent contractor responsible for owning and supporting ViewPoint and related business systems, delivering SQL Server development, reporting, integrations and operational support for critical platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Configure, maintain and support ViewPoint, including security, reporting and data management.
• Design, develop and maintain SQL Server database solutions (T‑SQL, stored procedures, views, functions) and optimise performance.
• Produce and support operational and management reporting solutions.
• Develop and maintain automation, data movement and integration solutions between ViewPoint and other enterprise systems.
• Participate in Incident, Problem, Change and Release Management processes.

Required profile

• Significant experience supporting and administering enterprise business applications.
• Strong SQL Server development experience, including database design and performance optimisation.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex application, database and integration issues.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently across global teams.
