Senior Communications Business Partner – LATAM

About the role

The Senior Communications Business Partner for LATAM will act as an upstream strategic advisor to the Pharma Area Head, General Managers and leadership teams. The role blends public‑health advocacy, policy activation and commercial communication to strengthen Roche’s reputation and drive patient access across Latin America.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with LATAM leadership to co‑design commercial and health‑system‑shaping strategies, balancing visibility and credibility.
• Lead multi‑stakeholder engagement and policy initiatives that advance public‑health conversations in priority disease areas.
• Transform regional ecosystem data into actionable, outcome‑based communication plans aligned with commercialisation and external affairs frameworks.
• Champion the OneRoche enterprise approach when strategic opportunities arise, aligning policy, market shaping and communications.
• Build a networked communications operating model, mentor local communicators and create synergy across markets.
• Implement omnichannel and digital channel governance, leveraging AI tools to increase efficiency and focus on high‑value strategic work.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a strategic communications partner within the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector.
• Strong understanding of public‑health policy, market access and stakeholder ecosystems in LATAM.
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior leadership and drive cross‑functional collaboration.
• Excellent analytical skills to convert data into insight‑driven communication plans.
