SAP Hybris/Commerce Developer (Remote)

About the role

Oowlish is looking for an experienced SAP Hybris/Commerce Developer to join its global team serving clients in the pet and animal health sector. The role is fully remote and focuses on building and enhancing scalable commerce solutions on SAP Commerce Cloud.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain applications on SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris) using Java.
• Implement and integrate RESTful APIs and SOAP web services.
• Collaborate with front‑end developers working with JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML and CSS.
• Work with relational databases such as MySQL, Oracle or SAP HANA.
• Manage builds and dependencies with Maven or Gradle and use Git/Bitbucket for version control.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, performance tuning and agile ceremonies.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience with SAP Hybris / SAP Commerce Cloud.
• Strong background in Java and the Spring Framework.
• Proficiency in building and consuming REST and SOAP APIs.
• Experience with relational databases and build tools (Maven or Gradle).
• Solid debugging and analytical abilities.
