Quality Manager

About the role

Reporting to the Director, Product Design, the Quality Manager develops and maintains a robust quality management system, oversees audits, leads quality incident investigations (QII) and drives continuous improvement. The role ensures that products and processes meet the highest quality standards and fosters a culture of excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement an effective quality management system aligned with industry standards and best practices.
• Establish and communicate quality policies, procedures and guidelines, and set quality metrics and KPIs with cross-functional teams.
• Conduct internal audits, coordinate with external auditors, document findings and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Lead QII meetings and improvement initiatives, including Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing and other methodologies.
• Assess the impact of new product features and process changes on quality and track quality objectives and targets.
• Oversee team members, give guidance and mentorship, run regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, software engineering, quality management or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience as a Quality Manager or in a similar role in engineering, software or financial industries.
• 3+ years of leadership experience managing team members and quality initiatives.
• Experience performing audits and leading improvement initiatives; ability to train and mentor staff.

Required skills

• In-depth knowledge of quality management systems and tools, and of standards such as ISO 9001 or AS9100.
• Proficiency in quality management software and tools; Six Sigma or Lean certification is a plus.
• Analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, with strong collaboration and presentation abilities.
