About the role

The Faculty of Administration and Social Sciences at Universidad ORT Uruguay seeks a qualified instructor to teach Electronic Spreadsheets (Excel) and Database subjects. The position involves delivering high‑quality lectures in a blended format (in‑person and/or virtual) for 3 hours per week.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver classes according to the academic guidelines of the Business Information Systems chair.
• Prepare and update teaching materials, exercises, case studies, and learning activities.
• Participate in student evaluation, performance monitoring, and grading.
• Attend coordination and evaluation meetings scheduled by the chair.
• Contribute to curriculum development by integrating current professional practices.

Required profile

• University degree in a relevant field.
• Solid knowledge of electronic spreadsheets (Microsoft Excel) and databases.
• Availability to teach and perform follow‑up tasks during the established schedule.
• Academic exclusivity.
• Master’s degree and prior university teaching or professional training experience are highly valued.
