Product Owner

About the role

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is looking for a Product Owner to join a collaborative, fast‑paced environment where technology and business intersect to deliver meaningful impact. You will translate strategic objectives into actionable backlog items and work closely with global Agile teams to drive product value.

Key responsibilities

• Translate business goals and strategy into clear, actionable backlog items.
• Own and continuously refine the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
• Communicate product requirements and objectives to development teams.
• Accept or reject deliverables based on defined acceptance criteria.
• Track delivery progress, remove blockers, and support the team.
• Prioritize user stories and development tasks based on business value, effort estimates, and dependencies.

Required profile

• Detail‑oriented product professional with strong coordination, analytical, and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Proven experience as a Product Owner in Agile environments.
• Ability to navigate complexity, shape priorities, and support delivery across multiple initiatives.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of Agile roles, ceremonies, and artifacts.
• Expertise in PI Planning, backlog management, user‑story definition, and prioritization.
• Excellent stakeholder collaboration and communication skills.
