Part-Time Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)

About the role

We are seeking a part‑time Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide direct nursing care to residents in a long‑term care facility and to supervise nursing assistants. The role ensures compliance with federal, state and local regulations while maintaining high‑quality resident care.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver direct nursing care and monitor resident health status.
• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of nursing assistants.
• Ensure all nursing staff follow facility policies, procedures and regulatory guidelines.
• Participate in shift planning, resident discharge planning and quality‑assurance programs.
• Complete required documentation, including medical forms, incident reports, charge slips and daily census reports.
• Assist with admissions, transfers and discharges of residents.
• Collaborate with other resident services to provide integrated care.
• Support facility inspections and government surveys as needed.

Required profile

• Current LVN license in good standing.
• Experience in long‑term care or similar healthcare setting.
• Strong knowledge of nursing regulations and standards.
• Ability to lead, train and evaluate nursing assistants.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
