Operations & Procurement Coordinator

About the role

We are looking for a solution‑oriented student to join our dynamic offshore support team as an Operations & Procurement Coordinator. Based on‑site in Montevideo, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods and services that keep our marine operations running safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, issue and track purchase orders for offshore projects.
• Coordinate with suppliers to guarantee timely delivery of materials and services.
• Support operational planning and maintain accurate procurement records.
• Assist with cost control, budgeting and financial reporting related to purchasing and logistics.
• Liaise with internal teams and external partners to resolve procurement issues and improve processes.
• Uphold safety, compliance and quality standards in all procurement activities.
• Contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives in operations and procurement workflows.

Required profile

• Strong procurement and purchasing experience, especially managing purchase orders.
• Solid analytical abilities for evaluating supplier performance and costs.
• Clear, professional communication skills for internal and external coordination.
• Experience in maritime, offshore or energy logistics is a plus.
• High attention to detail, strong organization and ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Relevant education in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics or a related field.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
