About the role

We are looking for a Technical Customs Officer to join our Operations and Customs Management team. The professional will independently manage the full import clearance cycle, ensuring technical accuracy, correct tariff classification, regulatory compliance, and seamless communication with clients and public authorities.

Key responsibilities

• Load and manage import customs clearances through all stages, from documentation review to release.
• Operate the MEGA 6 system fluently.
• Perform precise tariff classification using the NCM system, applying relevant permits and regulations.
• Coordinate with clients, shipping lines, warehouses, suppliers and authorities such as DNA, LATU and MGAP.
• Control costs, taxes, certifications and pre‑clearance requirements.
• Verify commercial and regulatory documents including invoices, bills of lading, packing lists, certificates and permits.
• Generate reports and maintain document order according to ISO 9001 standards.
• Anticipate deviations, communicate incidents and resolve operational issues promptly.
• Provide proactive, clear service to corporate clients.
• Lead the customs management team.

Required profile

• At least 4 years of proven experience handling complete import clearance operations.
• Professional training in Foreign Trade, Customs Brokerage or a related field.
• Demonstrated ability to work with precision, autonomy and technical responsibility.

Required skills

• MEGA 6 system.
• Tariff classification (NCM) and related permits.
• Import documentation verification (invoice, Bill of Lading, packing list, certificates, permits).
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 documentation standards.
