About the role

A specialized 6-week freelance project is looking for an experienced Mass Timber Structural BIM Specialist to work on CLT, Glulam, structural connections and fabrication-level BIM modeling. The project is remote and open to candidates across Latin America.

Key responsibilities

Work on LOD 400 Mass Timber structural models
Coordinate CLT and Glulam systems, structural connections, MEPF penetrations, hangers, supplementary steel and multidisciplinary interfaces

Required profile

3+ years of Structural BIM / detailing experience
Hands-on Mass Timber, CLT and/or Glulam experience
English B2+ for daily technical communication
Immediate availability
Own computer/laptop; U.S.-based project experience is a plus

Required skills

Advanced Revit
LOD 400 / fabrication-level modeling
Structural connection and detailing experience
Multidisciplinary BIM coordination
Nice to have: Navisworks, MEPF penetration coordination, structural steel detailing, timber connection hardware (knife plates, fasteners, anchors, hangers), IFC / STEP / SAT / CAD-CAM workflows
