Marketing Manager

About the role

Canonical is seeking a Marketing Manager to lead end‑to‑end go‑to‑market planning and campaign execution for its open‑source software portfolio. You will work remotely within the EMEA region, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to drive awareness, engagement, and revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full lifecycle of go‑to‑market planning and campaign execution across portfolios, territories, or verticals.
• Develop and lead marketing programs that engage prospects and generate pipeline.
• Collaborate with content, events, paid media, and social teams to deliver integrated, data‑driven campaigns.
• Analyze performance metrics to optimise content conversion and overall impact.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a marketing role within the technology sector, preferably SaaS or enterprise IT.
• Data‑driven mindset with the ability to evaluate performance and optimise for impact.
• Self‑starter who balances strategic thinking with hands‑on execution.
• Strong storytelling ability to craft messages for both technical and business audiences.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Adaptable, fast learner with a growth mindset and passion for innovation.
