Manager Data Management

About the role

As a Manager, Data Management you will lead the architecture, design, delivery and evolution of the company’s enterprise data platforms, with a focus on Master Data Management and modern cloud‑based data services. You will oversee a team of in‑house and outsourced data engineers and developers, driving the development of robust Azure‑based big data solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the technical direction for MDM platforms, including data models, integration patterns, survivorship rules, matching, workflow, stewardship and data‑quality processes.
• Design and evolve enterprise data platforms such as data lakes, lakehouses, delta lakes and scalable storage patterns on Microsoft Azure.
• Lead architecture, design, development, deployment and production support for data engineering teams.
• Implement integrations between data platforms, operational systems and analytical solutions using APIs, ETL/ELT pipelines, Azure Data Factory, Function Apps and Logic Apps.
• Establish architecture standards and engineering best practices covering ingestion, transformation, orchestration, storage, semantic modelling, observability and security.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related field.
• 7+ years progressive experience in data architecture, data engineering, big data platforms or MDM.
• 5+ years designing and delivering cloud‑based data solutions on Microsoft Azure or comparable platforms.
• Proven leadership experience managing data engineers and developers.
