Maintenance Technician

About the role

The Maintenance Technician will ensure reliable operation of all major facility equipment across one or more sites. The role involves preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems supporting production operations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform monthly preventive maintenance and inspections on major equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical issues.
• Install, adjust, replace, and reassemble equipment components.
• Coordinate with external contractors, procure parts and services as needed.
• Execute general maintenance tasks and support other departments and engineers.
• Develop and implement small‑to‑moderate scope process improvements.
• Conduct independent work orders and ensure timely completion.
• Provide training to associates on production equipment.
• Identify electrical issues and perform unsupervised facility walk‑throughs.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of maintenance experience in a commercial, industrial, or manufacturing environment.
• Strong troubleshooting ability and knowledge of refrigeration and mechanical systems.
• Ability to work independently and make judgment calls on technical solutions.
