Logistics Operations Manager, Google Cloud Logistics

About the role

Google Cloud Logistics is looking for a Logistics Operations Manager to oversee day‑to‑day logistics for data center and warehouse operations in Uruguay. The role combines stakeholder management, process improvement, and cross‑functional project leadership to ensure reliable, cost‑effective supply chain performance.

Key responsibilities

• Own daily logistics operations for data center and warehouse facilities.
• Lead cross‑functional initiatives and projects that improve logistics efficiency.
• Manage third‑party logistics (3PL) partners, including performance scorecards and contract compliance.
• Control quarterly budgets, invoice processing, and capital improvement projects.
• Identify cost or quality improvement opportunities, develop business cases, and drive implementation.
• Ensure on‑time delivery of materials and maintain strong relationships with internal customers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Operations or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of experience building stakeholder relationships and managing 3PL, manufacturing, or supply‑chain operations.
• Proven ability to diagnose process issues, design solutions, and lead cross‑functional change.
• Fluent communication in English and Spanish.
• Preference for Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma or 5S certification and experience with data‑center logistics and free‑trade‑zone locations.
