About the role

We are looking for an experienced professional to lead our commercial team and manage high‑value interior design projects in Montevideo. The role blends technical design judgment with strong sales closing ability and people leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and evaluate the performance of the commercial advisory team.
• Provide feedback and training on product knowledge, consultative selling, cross‑selling and up‑selling.
• Curate the technical‑aesthetic quality of team projects before client presentation.
• Independently manage a portfolio of high‑value clients, focusing on closing deals and achieving results.
• Oversee high‑value budgets, delegating and closely monitoring progress as needed.
• Advise on comprehensive interior design solutions and create proposals using SketchUp and AutoCAD.
• Supervise showroom presentation, sample stock, customer experience and CRM usage.
• Prepare weekly sales, visit and KPI reports to support decision‑making.

Required profile

• Degree in Architecture, Interior Design or Industrial Design (mandatory).
• Minimum 4 years of experience in interior design with end‑client projects (mandatory).
• Proven experience selling furniture and spatial solutions (mandatory).
• Strong commercial mindset with a real ability to close deals and deliver results (mandatory).
• Leadership experience managing commercial teams.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in SketchUp.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD.
