Junior Project Manager for Keet P2P Engine

About the role

Tether Operations Limited is looking for a Junior Project Manager to support the Keet engine team, which builds the core peer‑to‑peer video‑call and chat platform. You will work remotely with a globally distributed group of senior engineers, turning priorities into clear plans and ensuring smooth releases.

Key responsibilities

• Track engine work across sprints and releases, keeping issues, milestones, and roadmaps up‑to‑date.
• Run or support stand‑ups, planning sessions, and retrospectives across time zones (mostly async).
• Coordinate between the engine team, Keet app/UI developers, and QA to surface dependencies early.
• Write status updates, release notes, and meeting summaries.
• Help triage bug reports and user feedback, routing them to the appropriate engineers.
• Identify risks and blockers early and assist the team in resolving them.
• Maintain internal documentation and processes.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience in project coordination or project management (including internships or open‑source contributions).
• Excellent written English communication, able to explain technical progress clearly.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow‑through.
• Comfortable working with engineers and learning technical concepts quickly.
• Self‑starter who thrives in a fully remote, async‑first environment.

Required skills

• Experience with issue trackers and project tools such as GitHub Issues/Projects, Jira, or Linear.
• Basic understanding of networking or distributed systems concepts (P2P, DHTs, NAT traversal, replication).
• Familiarity with software development lifecycles, Git, and release processes.
• Some exposure to JavaScript/Node.js.
